Mebane Holoman Burgwyn  (1914-1992)

American author of children's novels. Born in North Carolina in 1914. She studied education and guidance and worked in the education sector. She also wrote a few well received children's books, some of which won awards. She lived on a farm and many of her stories feature farm life, although I think only one of them was a horse story.
